Interview Takeaways
Where do you begin with looking for which credit cards to apply for?
Start slow, you don’t have to get all the cards at once. Do your research with your end goal in mind, check out cards that have rewards programs for the airlines in your city, have hotels in your goal destinations, or the stores you shop frequently at.
What’s a good beginner card?
Flexible currency cards are a good place to start as you can use them to redeem points, earn miles, or turn the points into cash using the cashback system. You can also get one without an annual fee and good cashback on everyday purchases like the Capital One Quicksilver.
How about payments? How do you make sure that you won’t incur any late fees?
Sign up for the automatic minimum payment for your credit card so you won’t get charged for the late fee. It comes in handy especially if you’re the type to forget when the bills are coming in. At least with the minimum payment automated, you won’t have to constantly worry about it.
