We've reached episode 200 of the podcast!!
Since 2016, I’ve been interviewing debt-free couples, personal finance experts, financially independent parents, and young millionaires to figure out how they've succeeded. With this information, we’ve all had a chance to benefit.
For those who have been with the show for a while, thank you for your support. I can't wait to produce the next 200 episodes!
On today's show, I am interviewing my son Calvin, my daughter Zoey and my wife Nicole. Every 50 episodes, I've done this as a way to remind myself and my family that they are the most important people in my life.
What are we covering?
Nicole and I discuss the following:
- Transitioning from full-time employee to small business owner
- How Coronavirus has affected our everyday family plan
- What our family thinks about racism and how we're battling it in our house
Outside of my chat with Nicole, I’ve invited both of the kids for a quick interview as well. Since it’s my 200th episode, I wanted to feature my whole family because after all … they are the reason I’m doing this podcast in the first place.

CARPE DIEM QUOTE
“It is time for parents to teach young people early on that in diversity there is beauty and there is strength. We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of that tapestry are equal in value no matter their color.”
Maya Angelou

Zoey is an inspiration, and I hope us grown ups can learn from her wisdom. Thank you for using your voice to support those who need someone on their side.
I’m so happy you feel this way Erika. I love Zoey so much and I’m so proud to see her grow up into such a kind, loving and caring girl.
I shared your kind words with my entire family. They truly made my day. Thank you!!
The pandemic has definitely stressed our FIRE plans, and we consider our household quite diversified with paper assets, US rental real estate, Costa Rica vacation rentals, and a consulting business with multiple products and services. Still, the pandemic and its economic fallout touches all streams. We are prioritizing our consulting, where we have the most control, to allow our paper and real estate to go untouched and hopefully continue to grow in the background.
