Guest Bio – Lawrence Gonzalez
I’m an older millennial as they say, who is engaged and lives at the nation’s capital DC. I grew up in Miami by way of Port-au-Prince Haiti so I’m far from home. Marine Corps Veteran who loves to give back by any means.
Now I’m taking on the juggernaut task of breaking down the racial wealth gap in 15 years or less, by empowering people with the financial vocabulary to become the next everyday millionaire. I went from making $23k before taxes out of grad school after the last recession with $125k in debt.
I got serious in 2014 and 6 years later, our combined net worth is now $300k. My fiancee and I combined forces in 2020 and we knocked out $30k in student loans and credit card debt. She is now debt-free. Though the journey is intentional, we traveled to 12 countries in 14 days in 2019. Our goal now is to pay and be wedding debt free a month after the wedding in November 2020.
